Trip sign ups will begin at 9 a.m. in person at the first general meeting after the trip is announced (unless otherwise stated in the description). At 11 a.m. the trip will be open for all sign ups by mail or director contact.
Waitlist sign ups provide a way for you to show interest in the trip. Your name on a waitlist does not guaranteed spot on the trip. Waitlist names are moved to fill openings on the trip on a first paid basis after contact by the directors. Waitlist are also used by the directors to determine interest in repeating a trip.

Southeastern Indian Festival WAITLIST
Date: Wednesday, April 8th & Thursday, April 9th

Cost: $140 pp/dbl $200 Single $65 for cooking school option
Highlights: Porch Creek Indians host this spring festival of song, dance, arts & crafts, living history, storytelling, demonstrations and food. We will enjoy the afternoon at the festival then spend the night and next day at the Windcreek casino where you can do cooking class or take advantage of other options offered bowling (we will have prizes), movies, make reservations the spa, Wednesday morning you can go to cooking class or ride the bus downtown for shopping and lunch. And , of course, the casino is always open for gambling! Food available at the cafeteria, snack bar, or if you would rather have a lovely dinner, make reservations at restaurant. We will head for home Thursday after the cooking class with a stop at the Amish market for 50 Cent ice cream! And maybe a little shopping while we are there.

Mobile Tunnel Tour WAITLIST

Highlights: See a movie and hear a discussion on the Construction of the tunnel under the Mobile river. There is a steep set of stairs to climb down under the tunnel to see the inner workings. Then see the control room with the cameras that watch us in the tunnel and on interstate 10.

Tour Montgomery with ASF play Chicken and Biscuits

Highlights: Travel to Montgomery with a stop at Priester's. Lunch in Montgomery at Pierce's Country Cooking then arrive for a guided tour of our State Capitol building. Check in to the luxurious downtown Embassy Suites - your stay includes a drink package and breakfast. That evening we bus to a restaurant for an included dinner then are taken to the Alabama Shakespear theater for the hilariously funny play entitled "Chicken and Biscuits" - tickets provided. After breakfast our bus will take us to the Alabama History Museum in Montgomery - we have about an hour and a half to explore and walk to the Little White House if you desire. We will head back to Daphne with a stop for lunch in Greenville before another stop at the Conecuh Sausage gift store. Set in 1969, it’s the first day of summer, and Montgomery has graduated high school, gotten drunk for the first time, and received his draft notice. His sister Savannah is only a freshman, but she has set her sights on “King Arthur”, the school quarterback and the lifeguard at the pool. Augusta is the middle child who has set her sights on bigger things, but right now, she has to clean up the messes her siblings make. Throw in some romance with Mary Lee, president of the Future Homemakers of America, and the annual summer luncheon of the Women’s Bible Study, and there is plenty of room for laughter and tears!

The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum WAITLIST

Highlights:
Traveling by motorcoach, we will stay in route the first night. After a Continental Breakfast the next morning, we will resume our trip to our destination in the Cincinnati area where we will enjoy a relaxing dinner. On day 3 we will visit the Ark Encounter. This amazing, full-size, bigger than imagination ark, with jaw-dropping exhibits, lets you experience the pages of the Bible like never before. That evening we will enjoy dinner before heading back to our hotel. On day 4 we will go to the Creation Museum where we will explore full-size exhibits, a stunning botanical gardens, and more. Then enjoy a dinner party with entertainment. Day 5 we head to the Cincinnati Museum Center where Union Terminal is housed, Historic Art Deco Train Station, and National Historic Landmark. Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Highlights: To be held at South Baldwin Community Theatre, Gulf Shores, Alabama. Andrew Lloyd Weber’s humorous retelling of the biblical story of Joseph, his bothers, his father Jacob, and the coat of many colors. Follow Joseph’s journey from bondage to becoming Pharaoh’s right-hand man to his reunion with his family. This delightful and merry musical – embracing country-western, calypso, and Elvis-style rock music is sure to delight everyone.
The motorcoach will pick up at Homestead Village at 1:00pm. The performance starts at 2:30pm. We will board the motorcoach and return as soon as the performance is over, returning to the pickup point.

Explore Tuscany

Highlights of Trip: Please join our directors on this most requested Collette Tour, exploring Tuscany, Italy, which is held during their harvesting season. We will arrive in Montecatini Terme on Sunday, 9/6 and will be staying at the same hotel for this entire trip. The trip includes traveling to various cities such as Pisa where you can visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We will also travel to Florence, Lucca, and San Gimignano where there is plenty to see and do in each city. Highlights: Discover colors of New England with an optional 2-night Boston post tour extension. Visit New England, where we will see tree covered mountain sides, charming quaint villages with traditional, white, steepled churches. Visit Quechee Gorge, known as Vermont's little Grand Canyon. Also visit the Trapp Family Lodge. In New Hampshire, we will learn about the history and importance of maple sugaring in the region and visit a virtual tap room. We will visit Portland, Maine, which is known as one of America's coolest cities. We are planning on the whole trip being cool, jacket weather! The tour ends in Boston where you can choose to stay a couple extra days and tour Boston, or go with some of us to Salem and visit the witches.
