Trip sign ups will begin at 9 a.m. in person at the first general meeting after the trip is announced (unless otherwise stated in the description). At 11 a.m. the trip will be open for all sign ups by mail or director contact.
Waitlist sign ups provide a way for you to show interest in the trip. Your name on a waitlist does not guaranteed spot on the trip. Waitlist names are moved to fill openings on the trip on a first paid basis after contact by the directors. Waitlist are also used by the directors to determine interest in repeating a trip.
2026
Colors of New England
October 5th - 12th, 2026 FULL

Cost: $4,699 double/ $6,399 single/ $4,599 triple. Extension Cost is $899 double; $1,399 Single. (Deposit for trip of $698 due at registration. Cancellation waiver and insurance $429 per person.)
Highlights: Discover colors of New England with an optional 2-night Boston post tour extension. Visit New England, where we will see tree covered mountain sides, charming quaint villages with traditional, white, steepled churches. Visit Quechee Gorge, known as Vermont's little Grand Canyon. Also visit the Trapp Family Lodge. In New Hampshire, we will learn about the history and importance of maple sugaring in the region and visit a virtual tap room. We will visit Portland, Maine, which is known as one of America's coolest cities. We are planning on the whole trip being cool, jacket weather! The tour ends in Boston where you can choose to stay a couple extra days and tour Boston, or go with some of us to Salem and visit the witches.
This trip is rated a level 1, which means it will be a fun filled leisurely time to spend with friends. There will be times you can choose to be more active or decide to sit and enjoy the sites.
Northeastern Alabama

Highlights: Travel to Fort Payne Alabama stopping at the Alabama Motor Sports museum for a fascinating view of more than just motorcars. Lunch and dinner are included on this travel day. Spend two nights in Fort Payne - day 2 takes you to Orbix Hot glass studio where you will blow your own ornament! Travel back to town for a historical tour featuring the Opera House, Hosiery Museum and other historical landmarks in the quaint town of Ft. Payne with a knowledgeable local guide. Keep your eye out for Pete the Cat while having lunch on your own at any of the wonderful local restaurants. Dinner is on your own, there are several restaurants close to our hotel. As we head home we make a stop at Montevallo for a tour of the American Village. This beautiful park has recreated numerous historical scenes and buildings - staff is in period costume. Lunch will be provided. Our final stop before arriving home is the Conecuh Sausage gift shop. We will have a cooler ready for any purchases!
Pensacola-How Did It All Begin?

Highlights: Come explore and experience 450 years of America’s first settlement brought to life in the Pensacola Historic Village. In the morning, we will have a guided tour of: Lavalle House- French Creole Colonial architecture built in 1805; Lear/Rocheblave House-built circa 1890; The Dorr House-Greek Revival features built in 1871; Old Christ Church-built in 1832 to establish an Episcopal Church in Pensacola * October is the bewitching month, and the Village will highlight traditions and superstitions surrounding death and mourning during the Victorian period* We will have Lunch at the popular “McGuires Irish Pub” (Lunch is on your own). After Lunch we will return to the Village area where you will have free time to explore Museum of History, Museum of Commerce, Museum of Industry, the Museum of Art. You may want to visit Quayside Gallery highlighting original works by local artists.
New Orleans Overnight and Western Caribbean Cruise on Carnival Valor
Dates: Sunday, October 25 to Saturday, October 31, 2026

Highlights: New Orleans Overnight & Western Caribbean Cruise on Carnival Valor. Our bus will pick us up in Fairhope, AL. We will travel directly to New Orleans and stay at the AC Hotel New Orleans French Quarter. The evening is yours to enjoy! We will leave in the morning for the Port of New Orleans to board the Carnival Valor. We will have a 5 day Cruise stopping in Cozumel, Mexico and Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico. This is a great cruise for first timers to get a taste of cruising. BST members will meet voluntarily, daily to discuss activities and experiences. While onboard we will have entertainment, food, music, and the casino! We will return to New Orleans on Saturday, October 31st. Our bus will take us back to Fairhope. Only 22 spaces available for 12 Cabins.
Blue Angels Homecoming Show

Pensacola Bay is the perfect place to see the famous Blue Angels perform their thrilling aerial maneuvers. With the Naval Air Station location right on the bay, viewers can enjoy an unobstructed vantage point of their show from the Ferry!
The Ferries offer many amenities such as A/C, restrooms and seating both inside and up top. After our Ferry ride, we will stop for an early dinner at Cheddars Kitchen.

"A Christmas Carol" at Saenger Theater Pensacola

Highlights: Come join us for the Charles Dickens's timeless tale following Ebenezer Scrooge's ghostly journey. The play “A Christmas Carol” at the Saenger Theatre in Pensacola will be on November 30th. We will take a lively bus ride with Scrooge Trivia and a Christmas Treat Bag our journey! We will be back at the Daphne Target at approximately 9:30 p.m. The Bus will leave from Target, 1698 US Hwy-98, Daphne, AL 36526 @ 5:00 pm. A Christmas Treat Bag will be distributed on the bus, when we leave. We will not be stopping for dinner, so eat before you come to the bus. We will arrive at the Saenger Theatre Pensacola, 118 S Palafox St., Pensacola, Fl 32502 approximately 6:00 pm. Depart after play for Target, Daphne, AL at 9:30 pm

Join your hosts and celebrate your holidays with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra’s “Swing Into The Holidays” on Sunday December 13, 2026 at Saenger Theatre in Mobile. The symphony starts at 2:30pm and runs for approximately two hours. Following the symphony we will enjoy dinner at T.P. Crockmier’s restaurant located one half block east of the Saenger Theatre. Directly after dinner we will return to the pick up location. Pick up at Homestead Village, Fairhope at 1:00pm, Daphne Publix at 1:15pm, Rouses Market, Spanish Fort at 1:25pm. Dinner this year: Grilled boneless chicken breast, seasoned mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese, seasoned green beans, glazed baby carrots, green salad with house dressing. Desert is Cammie’s Old Dutch Ice Cream bar with all the fixings. Beverages are iced tea and water.

Highlights: Travel from Daphne to Auburn Raptor Center for a show on the way to Gadsden with a stop in the charming town of Roanoke. Day two takes us to Noccalula Falls and 2 wineries where we will sample their wine and have lunch. We return to Old Town Gadsden for a look at the charm of the old before returning to the hotel for dinner on your own - many restaurants are very walkable. Day three we travel to Sylacauga to the Blue Bell Creamery and then arrive in the beautifully restored town of Wetumpka.
