UPCOMING TRIPS

Click on the name of the trip to download/view the flyer or brochure for that trip. All trips may not have a flyer.  Contact the directors for additional information or to register for a trip.

Trip sign ups will begin at 9 a.m. in person at the first general meeting after the trip is announced (unless otherwise stated in the description).  At 11 a.m. the trip will be open for all sign ups by mail or director contact.

Waitlist sign ups provide a way for you to show interest in the trip. Your name on a waitlist does not guaranteed spot on the trip. Waitlist names are moved to fill openings on the trip on a first paid basis after contact by the directors. Waitlist are also used by the directors to determine interest in repeating a trip.

Canadian Rockies and the Rocky Mountaineer Train
July 5th - July 12th, 2025

Highlights:  8 days - 13 meals and airfare included. Begin your journey in Calgary at a local ranch for line dancing and a wagon ride in search of buffalo. Travel to Lake Louise for beautiful views and learn about the rare gemstone of ammolite. Traverse the Icefields Parkway see waterfalls and glacial peaks.
Board the Rocky Mountaineer train in Banff and travel to Kamloops through majestic scenery. Spend the night in Kamloops and then board the train for another amazing ride to Vancouver. Visit Stanley Park, and Granville Island Public Marker full of handmade crafts and artisan food. An amazing journey in the Canadian Rockies not to be missed!

Pasta Cooking Lab

Highlights: Come join us for a pasta making class lead by Mari, a native of Italy. This is a hands on class. Each person will have the use of a pasta machine, all ingredients and individual attention from Mari. We will make fettuccine and bowtie pasta to take home with cooking instructions. "I teach my favorite, authentic, regional Italian recipes, and the traditional methods of making pasta that were passed down to me through generations." Mari

Chickasaw Theater “Anything Goes”

Highlights: Come with us to Chickasaw Theater for Anything Goes! Written by Guy Bolton and P.G. Wodehouse; music by Cole Porter. This well-loved Cole Porter show is full of song and dance. The story is set aboard an ocean liner crossing from New York to London. It features an array of Porter tunes including “It’s De-Lovely,” “I Get a Kick Out of You,” and “Blow, Gabriel, Blow” in addition to the title classic “Anything Goes.”

Explore Chattanooga Tennessee

September 22-26, 2025

Highlights: Please Join us for an exciting 5-day Motorcoach trip to Chattanooga and experience the charm of this city where History, Adventure, and Culture thrive. We will be spending three days in Chattanooga, staying at the Hampton Inn downtown for all four nights, no baggage transfers needed. Highlights: Pensacola Bay is the perfect place to see the famous Blue perform their thrilling aerial maneuvers. With the Naval Air Station location right on the bay, viewers can enjoy an unobstructed vantage point of their show from the Ferry! The Ferries offer many amenities such as A/C, restrooms and seating both inside and up top. After our Ferry ride we will stop for an early dinner at Cheddars Kitchen. Dinner is on your own.

The Man Who Came To Dinner

Sunday, November 16th

Highlights: The bus will pick up from 3 locations - Homestead Village, Daphne Target and Rouse's Spanish Fort and take us to the hilariously funny play at the Chickasaw Theater. "The Man Who Came To Dinner" all begins when a famous NYC radio personality is invited to dine with Earnest Stanley and slips on ice and injures his hip becoming a nuisance guest complete with an absent-minded Doctor, a frantic nurse and the faithful secretary - All of which are very quirky among other visitors that make this a comedy of errors from the very beginning. Don't miss this great play at the always entertaining Chickasaw Theater.

BST Christmas Luncheon

Highlights: Enjoy a fun social lunch with BST members and wear your favorite holiday attire! Start with appetizers at 11:00 am but save room for delicious buffet lunch and dessert at noon. This will be followed by a brief program and induction of the 2026 BST Officers. Door prizes will be awarded.

MSO Christmas Symphony

December 14th, 2025

Highlights: Join your hosts and enjoy a Sunday afternoon with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra’s Christmas Symphony on Sunday December 14, 2025. The symphony starts at 2:30pm and runs for approximately two hours. After completion of the symphony we will enjoy a buffet dinner at TP Crockmiers restaurant located one half block east of the Saenger Theatre. Pick up locations and times to follow.

Highlights of Trip: Please join our directors on this most requested Collette Tour, exploring Tuscany, Italy, which is held during their harvesting season. We will arrive in Montecatini Terme on Sunday, 9/6 and will be staying at the same hotel for this entire trip. The trip includes traveling to various cities such as Pissa where you can visit the Leaning Tower of Pissa. We will also travel to Florence, Lucca, and San Gimignano where there is plenty to see and do in each city. Please refer to the Collete flyer for additional information on all the activities on this trip. There are optional pre and post tours available at your discretion which are defined in the brochure. Colors of New England

October 5th - 12th, 2026

Highlights: Discover colors of New England with an optional 2-night Boston post tour extension. Visit New England, where we will see tree covered mountain sides, charming quaint villages with traditional, white, steepled churches. Visit Quechee Gorge, known as Vermont's little Grand Canyon. Also visit the Trapp Family Lodge. In New Hampshire, we will learn about the history and importance of maple sugaring in the region and visit a virtual tap room. We will visit Portland, Maine, which is known as one of America's coolest cities. We are planning on the whole trip being cool, jacket weather! The tour ends in Boston where you can choose to stay a couple extra days and tour Boston, or go with some of us to Salem and visit the witches. 

This trip is rated a level 1, which means it will be a fun filled leisurely time to spend with friends. There will be times you can choose to be more active or decide to sit and enjoy the sites.
