Trip sign ups will begin at 9 a.m. in person at the first general meeting after the trip is announced (unless otherwise stated in the description). At 11 a.m. the trip will be open for all sign ups by mail or director contact.
Waitlist sign ups provide a way for you to show interest in the trip. Your name on a waitlist does not guaranteed spot on the trip. Waitlist names are moved to fill openings on the trip on a first paid basis after contact by the directors. Waitlist are also used by the directors to determine interest in repeating a trip.

Southern Grove Vineyard Waitlist

Tour Montgomery with ASF play Chicken and Biscuits

Highlights: Travel to Montgomery with a stop at Priester's. Lunch in Montgomery at Pierce's Country Cooking then arrive for a guided tour of our State Capitol building. Check in to the luxurious downtown Embassy Suites - your stay includes a drink package and breakfast. That evening we bus to a restaurant for an included dinner then are taken to the Alabama Shakespear theater for the hilariously funny play entitled "Chicken and Biscuits" - tickets provided. After breakfast our bus will take us to the Alabama History Museum in Montgomery - we have about an hour and a half to explore and walk to the Little White House if you desire. We will head back to Daphne with a stop for lunch in Greenville before another stop at the Conecuh Sausage gift store. We will have a cooler available for anyone wanting to purchase sausage or other goodies. This trip will fill up fast!

Set in 1969, it’s the first day of summer, and Montgomery has graduated high school, gotten drunk for the first time, and received his draft notice. His sister Savannah is only a freshman, but she has set her sights on “King Arthur”, the school quarterback and the lifeguard at the pool. Augusta is the middle child who has set her sights on bigger things, but right now, she has to clean up the messes her siblings make. Throw in some romance with Mary Lee, president of the Future Homemakers of America, and the annual summer luncheon of the Women’s Bible Study, and there is plenty of room for laughter and tears!

The Ark Encounter & Creation Museum

Highlights:
Traveling by motorcoach, we will stay in route the first night. After a Continental Breakfast the next morning, we will resume our trip to our destination in the Cincinnati area where we will enjoy a relaxing dinner. On day 3 we will visit the Ark Encounter. This amazing, full-size, bigger than imagination ark, with jaw-dropping exhibits, lets you experience the pages of the Bible like never before. That evening we will enjoy dinner before heading back to our hotel. On day 4 we will go to the Creation Museum where we will explore full-size exhibits, a stunning botanical gardens, and more. Then enjoy a dinner party with entertainment. Day 5 we head to the Cincinnati Museum Center where Union Terminal is housed, Historic Art Deco Train Station, and National Historic Landmark. This also includes an admission to an Omnimax show. That evening we will relax in our in route hotel on our way home. Day 6 after breakfast we complete our journey home.

Enjoy a relaxing two hour cruise with an expert guide from the Dauphin Island Sea Lab.
Learn about one of the most unusual mammals in our waters - the manatee. Cruise to areas where they are often sighted in the summertime. We cannot guarantee a sighting but with our guide who tracks their movements we have an excellent chance. This trip promises to be both educational and enjoyable. We have room for only 40 passengers - don't miss out!!
Drinks and Dominoes

Highlights: We will meet at the Water’s Edge Venue, 24120 Fountain Street, Robertsdale, at 11:30am. Lunch will be served around noon which will consist of two choices of croissants and/or sandwiches, chips, fruit, and ice tea. Afterwards we will start to play dominoes, or other games if people bring them, and we will end around 2:00pm. Transportation will be on your own. Directions/map will be given. Lunch choices are a Chicken Salad Croissant or Ham and Cheese Sandwich. You will need to indicate your choice at the time of sign up so we can let Waters Edge know what to prepare. NOTE: We are asking attendees to bring along their set of dominoes to ensure we have enough to share with other attendees at various tables.

Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

Highlights: To be held at South Baldwin Community Theatre, Gulf Shores, Alabama. Andrew Lloyd Weber’s humorous retelling of the biblical story of Joseph, his bothers, his father Jacob, and the coat of many colors. Follow Joseph’s journey from bondage to becoming Pharaoh’s right-hand man to his reunion with his family. This delightful and merry musical – embracing country-western, calypso, and Elvis-style rock music is sure to delight everyone.
The motorcoach will pick up at Homestead Village at 1:00pm. The performance starts at 2:30pm. We will board the motorcoach and return as soon as the performance is over, returning to the pickup point.

Explore Tuscany

Highlights of Trip: Please join our directors on this most requested Collette Tour, exploring Tuscany, Italy, which is held during their harvesting season. We will arrive in Montecatini Terme on Sunday, 9/6 and will be staying at the same hotel for this entire trip. The trip includes traveling to various cities such as Pisa where you can visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa. We will also travel to Florence, Lucca, and San Gimignano where there is plenty to see and do in each city. Colors of New England

Highlights: Discover colors of New England with an optional 2-night Boston post tour extension. Visit New England, where we will see tree covered mountain sides, charming quaint villages with traditional, white, steepled churches. Visit Quechee Gorge, known as Vermont's little Grand Canyon. Also visit the Trapp Family Lodge. In New Hampshire, we will learn about the history and importance of maple sugaring in the region and visit a virtual tap room. We will visit Portland, Maine, which is known as one of America's coolest cities. We are planning on the whole trip being cool, jacket weather! The tour ends in Boston where you can choose to stay a couple extra days and tour Boston, or go with some of us to Salem and visit the witches.
This trip is rated a level 1, which means it will be a fun filled leisurely time to spend with friends. There will be times you can choose to be more active or decide to sit and enjoy the sites.
Northeast Alabama

Highlights: Travel to Fort Payne Alabama stopping at the Alabama Motor Sports museum for a fascinating view of more than just motorcars. Lunch and dinner are included on this travel day. Spend two nights in Fort Payne - day 2 takes you to Orbix Hot glass studio where you will blow your own ornament! Travel back to town for a historical tour featuring the Opera House, Hosiery Museum and other historical landmarks in the quaint town of Ft. Payne with a knowledgeable local guide. Keep your eye out for Pete the Cat while having lunch on your own at any of the wonderful local restaurants. Dinner is on your own, there are several restaurants close to our hotel. As we head home we make a stop at Montevallo for a tour of the American Village. This beautiful park has recreated numerous historical scenes and buildings - staff is in period costume. Lunch will be provided. Our final stop before arriving home is the Conecuh Sausage gift shop. We will have a cooler ready for any purchases!

Highlights: New Orleans Overnight & Western Caribbean Cruise on Carnival Valor. Our bus will pick us up in Fairhope, AL. We will travel directly to New Orleans and stay at the AC Hotel New Orleans French Quarter. The evening is yours to enjoy! We will leave in the morning for the Port of New Orleans to board the Carnival Valor. We will have a 5 day Cruise stopping in Cozumel, Mexico and Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico. This is a great cruise for first timers to get a taste of cruising. BST members will meet voluntarily, daily to discuss activities and experiences. While onboard we will have entertainment, food, music, and the casino! We will return to New Orleans on Saturday, October 31st. Our bus will take us back to Fairhope.
